A call by the Network for Systemic and Permanent Solutions to all Roma parties, associations, associations, intellectuals, lobbyists and citizens to give their opinion, comment, etc. for the National Roma platform initiative

Taking into account the previous measures and policies of the institutions of the state in relation to decades of economic, social and cultural problems, it is obvious that the previous institutional efforts and measures have not improved the situation of the Roma community in Macedonia. On the contrary, poverty, social marginalization and exclusion have increased, although the authorities in Macedonia have a Strategy for the Integration of Roma, and of course partners from Roma political parties and several civil society organizations. More and more questions, doubts and mistrust of the government are being imposed by the Roma about the sincere commitment and responsibility of the state policies towards us, because the already modest budget funds for the implementation of the Roma Integration Strategy are being cut on every occasion. There is a need for joint action of Roma political parties, organizations, intellectuals and leaders to propose ways and measures to change the current situation for the better.

The Advocacy Network for Systematic and Permanent Solutions for the Integration of the Roma Community in Macedonia sends a public call to all relevant Roma parties, associations, associations, intellectuals, leaders, activists and citizens to join our initiative and contribute to the formation of the National Platform of Roma from Macedonia. The primary focus of the Platform is to unite and concentrate our Roma capacities in order to contribute to a more effective realization of the Roma Integration Strategy and we represent the interests and rights of the Roma in the European integration processes. Without a common platform, our demands are perceived as illegitimate, unclear and inconsistent by the institutions, with a partial character and the interest of certain Roma groups and organizations.

The members of the Network, following the national and European integration policies in Macedonia, saw that there is no adequate coordination and financial support for the Roma issue. State policies and European integration processes need to be urgently synchronized and budgeted in this financial cycle of IPA 3, which lasts until 2027. Apart from the poor coordination between the state institutions and the EU, it is increasingly clear that both sides consult and use unprofessional and incompetent individuals in the planning and programming of the state budget and IPA, so that all responsibility remains in the hands of the institutions and the EU Delegation in Macedonia. In addition, Roma policies are not budgeted for the medium and long term, but only on an annual level, while the need for continuity and durability of the measures taken is missing. Planning and acting through individual projects, mutually unrelated and ad-hoc financed, are the main factors for the stagnation and regression of the standard of living among the Roma, and additionally generate public opinion that the budget and EU funds are poorly used.

Every suggestion, every opinion, position or proposal is welcome and appreciated, with the importance and opportunity to create the Roma Platform for the protection of the rights and interests of our community.

"We expect a great response because we believe in the maturity of our leaders and intellectuals and their recognition that the creation of the Platform itself will be much more influential and of higher quality," You can send your suggestions, views, proposals to the e-mail of the Network for System and Permanent Solutions -  This email address is being protected from spambots. Civil media - Muratov: A life worth as much as a fur coat!

"Whoever among you sees an evil, let him stop it: first with his hands, then with his tongue, and if he cannot stop it with his hands and tongue, then let him condemn it with his heart," said the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, before many years!

In the past period, Russian propaganda heavily abused religion to justify the war in Ukraine, but the above quote is a confirmation that religion does not call for evil, but instead calls for coexistence, peace, tolerance...

Today, we are witnesses of evil, bloodshed, rape, terror, injustice, destroyed homes, temples, hospitals, schools, kindergartens... but despite that, unfortunately, there are Putin lovers in our country who support, approve or relativize this crime against humanity.

The Putinists all the time relativized the Russian aggression by being "concerned" "why there is no talk about Syria, Palestine, Afghanistan...", the same ones who were against the arrival of Afghan refugees, and who collected signatures for some fictional refugee camps!

Above all, it is our human obligation to stop Putin's evil, regardless of ethnicity, religion, profession, or otherwise.

From this distance, we oppose Putin's evil with our strongest weapon, which is the written word, speaking the truth, exposing disinformation.

Despite the strong Russian propaganda, we are still witnessing the heroism of the people of Ukraine who are literally resisting this evil with their bare hands, sacrificing their lives, just to preserve their homeland, home, dignity and honor.

Unlike Ukrainian heroes, the lives of ruble thieves who die in Ukraine are worth as much as a fur coat. Black Russian widows even had to laugh in front of the cameras of the Russian propaganda machine and confirm that they are satisfied with the help that Putin gives them. How miserable and devastating it is for your life to be worth as much as a piece of clothing!

The heroism of the Ukrainian people confirms that freedom has no price!

Czech appeals court overturns lower court verdict in the case of a brawl at a public pool because important witness testimony is missing

CNN Prima News has reported that a regional-level appeals court has overturned the first-instance verdict from a district court in the case of a brawl at a public pool in the town of Dubí in the Teplice area in 2018 because important witnesses were not heard in court. The entire case is being reopened and has to be reviewed again by the Teplice court.

The incident, which sparked anti-Romani, racist reactions on social media, took place on 7 August 2018. An adult female visitor to the pool who is “white” decided to chastise a child who, according to the court records, was said to be pushing another child underwater.

Žaneta Dunková, a Romani woman who is not the mother of the chastised child, stood up for him. Another adult visitor to the pool, David Michajlak, inserted himself into the argument between Dunková and the “white” woman and attempted to keep the women away from each other.

Other Romani adults (who were later charged) decided to defend their female relative. Michajlak ended up in the hospital with moderately serious injuries.

In May 2021, the District Court in Teplice decided that Jiří Demeter and Roman Dunka would be sent to a maximum-security prison for one year for conspiring to intentionally commit bodily harm and disorderly conduct. Other participants in the conflict, defendants Michal Dunka and Radek Čonka, were put on probation for two years.
