Documentary "Local Heroes-World Talents" from now available for all subscribers of Macedonian Telecom - Max TV and Max TV GO

"Golden frame" - a review of Macedonian films from last year. Participation takes also "Local Heroes - World Talents"

Twenty-five Macedonian films made last year with the support of the Film Agency will be screened from 22 to 24 February at the Frosina Cinema at the Golden Frame Revija organized by the Macedonian Film Workers Association-DFRM.

The artistic coordinator Ana Vasilevska said at the meeting with journalists that this is not a new film festival, but a show devoted to the domestic film, with which the audience will have an insight into the films completed in 2018. The idea is every year to organize a show of films from the previous year.

Two feature films ("The Year of the Monkey" by Vladimir Blazevski and "Return" by Kastriot Abdili), seven documentaries and 16 short films will be screened under the motto "Login to our film". On this film review will be also the latest documentary performance of the SP BTR in co-production with Studio 7, "Local Heroes-World Talents."

His projection is on February 24, starting at 5:00 pm in MKC-Kino Frosina

Call to all Roma cultural activists to send information on how many projects have been applied and how they have been approved for the 2019 annual program of the Ministry of Culture

According to the published results of the Annual Program Competition for 2019 by the Ministry of Culture, the approved funding for the implementation of projects is the question: How many Roma cultural workers have applied and how many of them have been approved?

For a timely response to this institution, complete information is needed on the number of submitted applications, the amount of the requested funds, and on the other hand information on the approved funds for the total number of submitted applications.

This initiative is initiated by the President of the REDICM Zoran Dimov, who is a member of the working group for drafting a National Action Plan for the Promotion of Roma Culture, in accordance with the Strategy for Roma 2014-2020. Otherwise, this Working Group was established in November 2018 with a decision by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the then Minister without Portfolio Axel Ahmedovski.

The basic point is to see the real number of submitted requests, and then to draw a conclusion on the level at which the Roma culture is targeted, and according to which criteria the Commission from the Ministry of Culture has defined the awarded or denied projects.
Therefore, once again we ask all Roma legal and physical entities in the field of culture who have applied for the Ministry of Culture in 2019 to send information on the applied projects, how many applications they sent, how much the budget was on demand, how much they approved and the amount of indebted and approved assets.

The Ministry of Culture for 2019 approved about 12,000 euros for Roma projects. Let's continue with weddings - they are more cost-effective!

After the announcement of the result of the approved funds for cultural events for 2019, which the Ministry of Culture has accepted, the lack of cooperation from all sides is high.

In this context are also included Roma, who have been living in this region for centuries.

And in the past, but now also by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, once again showed great indolence when it comes to the realization of cultural events of the Roma in the country. Over 30 Roma subjects who were ready to organize cultural events during this 2019 have applied for this competition.
Again, the Commissions that worked on reviewing these projects, as they were "blind" about the significance of these projects when it comes to Roma culture. As a small example, the long-standing subject SP BTR Production has for years organized a series of cultural events that have left a lasting mark and rating for this year have competed with their own two projects, which, according to some criteria of the Ministry of Culture, did not meet the criteria despite their background and no one was approved!

According to the list of approved funds when it comes to cultural events for the Roma, this year, the Commission chose only seven events from five subjects-applicants. Over 40,000 Euros were requested from those entities and around 12,000 Euros were approved,
The publishing association "Kham Syan" for the "Life's Knowledge" work demanded over 1,500 euros, and was given 680 euros. Writer Jusuf Suleiman asked for 2,500 euros for his book "Alijanca", which was given to him 1,500. ZHR "Esma" from Skopje for "Stories of grandmother of my city from the requested 1,750 euros, 1,000 euros have been approved.

Romano Ilo from Skopje for two events Romani May Folklore Days and Romani Music Festival asked for over 20,000 euros, fewer than 3,000 Euros have been approved, as well as Ensemble Rushit Shakir from Kumanovo for the folk festival "Yekhpe" and Roma Tube Fest of the requested nearly 15,000 approved is almost 6..000 euros.

According to the Ministry of Culture, in this 2019 Roma culture is worth only 1,000 euros per month !. Modestly not to say - almost NOW !. Thank you very much that we Roma have appreciated a lot. So we Roma Roma workers forget about culture and focus on what others do not recognize, music and weddings. God is more lucrative!
