The announced online course in Romani language and culture has started its implementation. On the initiative of the President of IRU, Zoran Dimov, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Philology "Blaze Koneski" at UKIM from Skopje, the Republic of North Macedonia, yesterday, October 3, 2024, starting at 3:30 p.m., the teaching of Roma language and culture began. entry level through online.
The initiator of this course, the president of IRU Zoran Dimov, and the Dean of the Faculty of Philology "Blasze Koneski" at UKIM, Skopje, Macedonia, gave their welcome speech at the first class.
Lecturers throughout the three-month course are Daniel Petrovski, M.Sc., and Sumi Yusuke. The classes are attended by 20 candidates from 10 countries, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. The impressions from the first class were very positive among all present.
The online teaching will last 3 months with a fund of 60 lessons, twice a week for 2 hours each Monday from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm and every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm.
At the end of the online course, all candidates will obtain Certificates certified by the Faculty of Philology. This practice will continue to be implemented for other interested candidates regardless of their place of residence.
Otherwise, the online course for these 3 months costs 200 euros, and it is possible to pay in installments.
