Finally, the announced online course in Romani language and culture begins with its realization. On the initiative of the President of IRU, Zoran Dimov, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Philology "Blaze Koneski" at UKIM from Skopje, the Republic of North Macedonia on October 3, 2024 will start with the program and teaching for the study of Roma language and culture, initial level through line. The lecturers are Daniel Petrovski, M.Sc., and Sumi Yusuke. The classes will be attended by 20 candidates from 10 countries, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
At the first academic online class, the president of IRU Zoran Dimov, and the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Vladimir Martinovski, will give their opening address.
The online teaching will last 3 months with a fund of 60 lessons, twice a week for 2 hours. At the end of the online course, all candidates will obtain Certificates certified by the Faculty of Philology. This practice will continue to be implemented for other interested candidates regardless of their place of residence.
Otherwise, the online course for these 3 months costs 200 euros, and it is possible to pay in installments.
