The Ministry of Education and Science has announced the competition for awarding scholarships to full-time Roma students enrolled in first-cycle studies at public and private higher education institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia for the academic year 2022/2023.
The Ministry informs that a total of 135 scholarships for full-time Roma students are planned for the competition.
- Conditions for awarding a student scholarship for Roma students
Students enrolled in first-cycle studies who study at public and private higher education institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia and who meet the following conditions are entitled to a scholarship:
- Be members of the Roma ethnic community;
- To be citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia;
- Not to be recipients of scholarships from other establishments, institutions or companies.
- Criteria
Scholarships for Roma students will be awarded according to the following criteria:
- The average result of the candidate from all years of secondary education, for students who are enrolled in the first year of studies;
- The achieved average result from all previous study years for students studying in all other years;
- To be regular students of any of the public or private higher education institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia for the academic year 2022/2023;
- Roma students studying at public or private faculties in the Republic of North Macedonia that train teaching staff will have priority during selection.
Students who in the academic year 2021/2022 were beneficiaries of a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Science, and did not enroll in the next semester or a higher academic year, are not entitled to a scholarship in the academic year 2022/2023.
III. Amount of scholarships
The amount of the scholarship is MKD 5,000 per month for nine months during one academic year.
- Method and deadline for registration
Students who meet the conditions of the competition fill out an electronic application and upload the relevant documentation at http://e-uslugi.mon.gov.mk from 11/24/2022 to 12/9/2022. The necessary documents for application are the following:
- A) For students enrolled in the first year of study, the following documents are required:
- Confirmation for a full-time student in the academic year 2022/23;
- Scanned original certificates from all 4 years of secondary education
- Certificate of citizenship of the Republic of North Macedonia;
- Transaction account in the name of the student.
- B) For students from all other study years, the following documents are required:
- Confirmation for a full-time student in the academic year 2022/23;
- Scanned index;
- Certificate of passed exams;
- Certificate of citizenship of the Republic of North Macedonia;
- Transaction account in the name of the student.
An incompletely completed application will not be considered in the process and it will not enter into competition with the others who registered for the competition.Facebook
