The second initiative is this donation of an ambulance which is donated to Chair Polyclinic for the needs of Roma citizens from Shuto Orizari, Chair and Butel, as well as all citizens living in these neighborhoods.
This donation is part of a series of initiatives in healthcare, the first initiative was support for the opening of the gynecological clinic in Shuto Orizari with support provided for hiring a nurse in the clinic for a period of 6 months, which was realized during the month of October.
The second initiative is this donation of an ambulance which is donated to Chair Polyclinic for the needs of Roma citizens from Shuto Orizari, Chair and Butel, as well as all citizens living in these neighborhoods. This donation also includes the donation - support for the hiring of two Roma nurses who will be hired in some of the departments of PHI Zdravstven dom Skopje - Skopje. This donation was initiated in 2021 with the signing of the tripartite memorandum between the Government, Chair Polyclinic and Avaja.
According to Elvis Shaqiri, the employment of the two nurses is expected to be realized in January 2023, thus rounding off all the support that Avaja provides to improve the health and access to health services of the Roma from Shuto Orizari. By signing the memorandum and the donation agreement, the Government and the Chair Polyclinic undertake to take over the nurses in the regular employment system after 2 years.
