The European Parliament on Thursday adopted the Report for 2018-2019 on the situation of fundamental rights in the EU, which identified several worrying situations. Representatives strongly condemned the efforts of some EU member states to weaken the separation of powers from the judiciary and stressed the need for the introduction of mechanisms by the EU regarding democracy, the rule of law and basic principles. They also strongly condemned the alarming state of feminism in the EU and the convergence of Roma women in health care, and called for the most urgent ban on this discriminatory practice, and for the legal instrument of victims of forced sterilization.
