The Minister of Labor and Social Policy Mila Carovska informed about the Draft Law on Unregistered Persons in the Registry of Births, which the Government adopted at the last session.
"We are solving the long-standing problem of people not listed in the birth registry, known as phantoms. These people have lived on the margins of our society for too long.
The new Draft Law that we have established for the Government enables them to exercise their fundamental rights. Right to health and social care and regular employment, and children will be able to be included in the educational process, "said Carovska.
The public call lasted until November 1st, 2018 and 700 people were reported.
The exercise of these rights and the status these persons will have until they have the necessary documents for their registration in the regular Birth Registry.
