Johnson Welch is a young Roma from the UK who wants to bring change to Europe. His views on discrimination and belittling of Roma culture and history illustrate the attitude towards Roma not only in Britain but across Europe.
He is currently studying law at Darlington University and is actively fighting for Roma and their equal treatment.
For the past two years he has been an active fixture on the DIKH HE NA BISTER media team event that brings together hundreds of young Roma to pay tribute to Holocaust victims in World War II.
In an interview, he talks about his activism, the fight against discrimination, the media and prejudice.
