Young Roma, high school students and students from Kumanovo are changing narratives, educating themselves on how to present the problems faced by the Roma population in exercising their health rights within the project "Changing Roma Narratives in Health Care Institutions" - "My Health is Mine law ”implemented by the National Roma Centrum (NRC) and the Symbiosis 12 Association.
Through creative workshops, writing journalistic stories, creating videos, young people express and demand the realization of the basic human right to health care, emphasizing that the attitude of the doctors, health care workers to the Roma population must be changed, how to overcome the existing prejudices that still exist in the 21st century towards the Roma community.
The project, which started in November, will last November, this year is supported by the Foundation Open Society Macedonia.
