Right-wing League leader Matteo Salvini, who sparked the collapse of Italy's first populist government and expelled from future rule, called for a October 19 demonstration in Rome.
"I think October 19th will be a great day of Italian pride," Salvini said.
Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte was forced to resign on August 8 when Salvini withdrew his support for the government.
Democrats and the Five Star Movement agreed yesterday to form a new government led by Conte, avoiding the danger of early elections at least for now.
