The ultra-right movement "Our Fatherland" held a rally in Terexentemiklos in Hungary, where tensions with the Roma population in that city increased, media reported.
They say that 400 people appeared at that gathering, and the police forbade the ultralight to ride through the Roma settlement, as previously announced.
The leader of this movement, Laszlo Torchkaya, welcomed the movement of the Hungarian Guard, which was banned by a 2009 court decision. According to him, the problems in Hungary, as he mentions the "Roma crimes" for which the Guard was formed, is now even worse.
About 200 Roma paid tribute to the victims of the killings that took place ten years ago, while two smaller groups held protests against the far right.
