Václav Sivák scored the 21st victory of his professional career on Sunday when he won the "Heroes Gate" traditional martial arts tournament at the UNYP Arena in Prague. He subsequently lost his temper. The name of the rival to take Sivák on changed more than once and it was unclear whom he would be fighting until the last moment. Ultimately he fought under K-1 rules against Vladimír Lengál, 10 years his senior, at a tournament organized by the experienced Oktagon organization.
In 2019, Sivák became the world champion of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) and remains the amateur number one in global kickboxing. At the close of 2020 he won the title of the national champion of the Czech Republic in classic boxing. In November 2021, Sivák won the much-prized international belt and became the WAKO Pro world champion in the weight category of 65 kg. and under when he defeated Fouad Djebari on points in Liberec, Czech Republic.
