To facilitate the process of registering the unemployed and access to rights in case of unemployment, so that the procedure will be fully digitalized, reads the request of the National Youth Council of Macedonia. They have launched an initiative that needs 500 supporters to be presented to MPs. Hence, they point out that according to the current Law on Employment and Insurance, in case of unemployment, "an unemployed person is a person who is not employed, is actively looking for a job and meets the conditions provided by this law." According to the same law, the unemployed person is obliged to appear in person at the Agency every 30 days and prove that he / she has been actively looking for a job in the last month. The unemployed person is introduced in the records of the unemployed persons in the Employment Center on whose territory he / she has a permanent place of residence.
