Roma who are in Vodnjan, a small place near Pula, where their community is in a hurry, is almost completely gone. Sometimes the main street known as the Trade Square and the main square was always full. Here, people of all ages were hanging out, playing, talking. There was a kindergarten for Roma children.
Today there is no one here, the kindergarten is closed. Where are those people who have completely disappeared for these four years?

- Yes, it's really a little now. When I was director of elementary school, there were 50 Roma students. But now it's just over 10. As far as I know, most have left for Germany and France - says the principal of the school, Corrado Giraldo.
According to information from several Roma NGOs from this region say that 7 to 8 years ago, the number of Roma people was about 500, and now they are barely 150.
