The European Central Bank in Frankfurt presented the new look of 100 and 200 euro banknotes that will be in circulation since May 28.
It is a series of banknotes called Europe. The banknotes are dominated by the characteristics of Europe, the beautiful Phoenician princesses and the goddess after which it was named the Old Continent.
As a security measure of banknotes will be a small symbol of the euro (€) in order to reduce or completely prevent the falsification of the single European currency.
With the new system of protection, bankers and retailers should relatively easily recognize the counterfeit samples, and in addition to the new design, the banknotes are much more quality made than those from the first series.
