On the occasion of the International Day of Tolerance, the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights is organizing the eleventh March of Tolerance, which will be held on November 16, 2019 (Saturday) at 12 noon.
The march will start in front of the Museum of the City of Skopje, across Macedonia Street, to the plateau endpoint in front of the SEE University in the Old Skopje Bazaar.
Education and youth will be the focus of this year's International Day of Tolerance. The reasons are serious and visible on a daily basis - the most frequent perpetrators and victims of hate crimes are minors, and the rise of inter-individual violence is further compounded by the use of social networks.
At the end of the March it is planned to have several speeches by representatives of the organizations that will give their support, each in their area of activity.
The event is supported by MOF, HERA, Margin Coalition, National Roma Centrum, Reactor and National Council for Gender Equality (SOZM), reads the statement of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights
